The hotel rooms were fantastic and the staff really friendly and helpful. They made our stay at the hotel so special. I was celebrating my birthday and they recognised this by playing and singing happy birthday at breakfast and presented me with a huge cake. Absolutely unexpected by all of us. a very special place and would definitely visit again. Worth every penny and a little piece of luxury.
all reviews » Very comfy bed, good sized room and bathroom (take your own bathplug!), nicely done, excellent breakfast (bacon, eggs, salads, bread, beans, sausages...), beautiful pool which alas is only open in summer. My room overlooked the front and the balcony had sun from morning til night. I liked it very much. The staff was the best ever! Very friendly and so helpful! I liked the english breakfast, very tasty! Hotel is close to the city center; only a 5-10 minute walk. All in all, my stay was very nice and I would definitely recommend the Cleopatra Hotel!. Nicely designed rooms and good location. Helpful staff, on-site parking. Excellent breakfast choices. Nothing to dislike. The pool was closed as it is not summer, a real shame. Also the restaurant was closed and seemed to open once a conference was being held there. The pool opens at 10 and closes at 6 in the evening. Though this is understandable, because the hotel-restaurant is located around the pool! No hairdryer in the rooms. Some dishes could be improved and hotel corridors visited more often by staff (room service trolleys and cleaning equipment should be removed faster).
