  A very old-style mountain hotel, mildely luxurious though not so popular nowadays. Located in the middle of a lush forest on the Troodos mountains, with plenty of wildlife and forest tracks around.   September appears to be out of season so for me was ideal. Friendly and helpful staff, really make you feel welcome. Stayed three nights but would have been happy to stay for longer. An ideal location to explore the area but be warned that what may appear close by may take a lot longer than expected to drive to due to the mountain roads. Temperature is definitely cooler than the coastal region - Outstanding location, friendly helpful reception staff. Views from our room were stunning. Breakfast was very good, with plate of cheese and meats AND a hot selection ( if you tick all the boxes it will be more than you can eat!) The evening buffet was not available at the time of our stay, so the half board consisted of being able to choose a starter, main and dessert from the cafe/snack bar menu. Quantity of food was large.
