  We had a studio room which was huge! Such a bargain - location was amazing. Fig tree bay is the most beautiful water I have ever swum in. The area has been overrun with British and doesn't have a Greek vibe which was disappointing, but the beauty makes up for it. Really enjoyed our holiday. The staff at Alva were absolutely lovely too. Our room was spacious with a lovely sea-view (4th floor). Many shops and restaurant around with a great diversity. however we didn't spend too much time in hotel, it was our starting point for visiting east ans south coast of Cyprus. It is definitely worth to visit all lovely beached aroung not only in Protaras (rather crowded).

And, in terms of a bit isolated location, maybe it is worth to have at the hotel some spots where you can get some fruits, fresh juices, natural local produc... what people say » ts and ice cream, like Pahit ice. And for eating out I would really recommend to go to the city center, try Diva restaurant, it's definitely worth to - There was a wide variety of activities offered each day for free that kept you active even if you decided to never leave the resort. My favorite feature was the free water taps throughout the resort where you could fill up your water bottle for free!

The beach is 2min walk down the street, we had a necessary equipment in the kitchen, a lot of space in the apartment and a nice balcony.
