Cosa dice la gente
Andreas is one of the most welcoming and attentive hoteliers I've
ever found, and his hotel is a perfect example of Cypriot hospitality.
The location is excellent for exploring the city and its many
attractions and superb traditional restaurants.
Despite being a two-star budget hotel, the Axiothea maintains the highest standards of maintenance and cleanliness. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped: those facing South have a wonderful view over the city and the sea. Breakfast is a well . tutti gli commenti dei clienti »
Our four-day stay at the hotel left us with the dearest memories. Highly efficient and friendly staff. A fantastic location. Being a bit spaced apart from the sea shore which can be easily reached by bus (the bus stop is very close) "Axiothea" offers an incomparable advantage of quite and rellaxing atmosphere, fresh air, unforgettable evenings at the sea-side balcony. Special thanks are due to Andreas for his extraordinary benevolent and attentive attitude.
I recently reviewed this basic but great-value hotel. We returned here on our last night in Cyprus. We were we asked if we wanted the same room as last time (we did: a lovely sea view over Paphos). We were leaving for the airport at 4:30 a.m. so the owner made us a packed lunch of sandwiches and fruit juice in lieu of breakfast. He was also very helpful in directing us to decent restaurants and shops.
The man who ran the reception was very helpful, and friendly. Breakfast was limited but sufficient and with some interesting touches - unique jams, etc. We liked that it's out of the tourist area and gave a chance to try local restaurants etc. We did walk into the harbour area easily enough, but it is a fair distance (3 Km?) and uphill on the way back. Wifi worked well in the room.
The price was very cheap and the CLEANLINESS of the rooms was amazing. The view from a seaside room was fantastic. The staff were excellent. The a/c in the room was brand new => air quality+performance. Exactly next to a stylish with excellent kitchen cafe/restaurant. For the ones thinking about booking i would highly recommend a seaside room.
Our review consists of superlatives - an amazing host in Andrea , a spotlessly clean and comfortable hotel in a convenient location with superb views of the sunset. We would certainly stay there again and would recommend this hotel to discerning travellers who want value for money and who want to experience the real
Cyprus.
I'd like to thank the host of the place and all the staff for their work and hospitality. As for the advantages. The view and design. Proximity to the old Paphos, nice restaurants and the best museums. Easy to find and convenient to travel from. And lots of home-made jams for breakfast!.
An excellent hotel with a courteous and very helpful owner. Fantastic views over Paphos. Superb value if you don't mind being 2.5 km from the seafront. Some decent restaurants round the corner and a swish cocktail bar next door. We really, really, really recommend it.
We were met at the hotel by the owner Andrea he was friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. I liked the location it was elevated above the town yet right in the centre. I would use this hotel again and would recommend it, it is very good value.
The owner is a very friendly and hospitable person. We had to leave very early morning so we coudn't have breakfast there but he has been so kind and left some sandwiches for us to take with. I liked the view from the hotel and the fact that the room was very clean.
Nothing - other than having to leave!.
Nothing to complain about.
A fridge in the room and tea/coffee making equipment would have been very welcome!.
All was good.
No fridge or kettle in room. Otherwise nothing!.
The furniture in the room is a little old.
